Wow. That's really strange, 'cause she is the one of the main figures of english folk music. How could you miss her I can hardly understand. :-))

Well I do recognize her name - does that redeem me in your eyes? *g*

I'm more into groups than individuals, I like singing in harmony and so that's what I most like listening to.

No :-)) I just know that you are the one who knows english folk very well - so that was strange to me how you've managed not to hear about Shirley. Actually, I'm sure you've heard her singing - on Young Tradition's album "Holly Bears The Crown", for example.
Oh, no ... now I remember you've told me you don't like Bellamy. So Young Tradition is not relevant. :-))

I've come to your place several times and found terrific albums here. I just want to say thanks for all of this, and I would love to contribute. I have lots of folk, blues, & old-time music. I also have a couple of Ewan MacColl albums you might be interested in: Bothy Ballads of Scotland, & Black & White: The Definitive Ewan MacColl Collection.

Let me know, I'd be happy to contribute.

Thanks,

Thanks! If you'd like to post something - no problem. If you want, of course.
Most of MacColl I already have, but it doesn't really matter - if it was not published here already - then it'd be welcome anyway.
Bothy Ballads was in my blog
Black & White - no.
